Human Factor is definitely one of the most creative and cosmic musical creators i have ever had the pleasure (and torture: in jest) of working with. For sure, Blake is a genius...and will turn you upside down. He is spontaneous and purely original..like Alfred Hitchcock but as a producer!! and at the end of the day exactly the guy you want heading up the mix. I look forward to making music together again.

...Blake Althen has produced two albums for me and my group( Second Wind Bandits).The new album, " A Gift of Love" (release date sept.13,2008), crosses many genres....folk, folk/rock, blues, jazz,bluegrass and pop/rock....Blake produced every song I threw at him brilliantly. He has superlative, technical engineering skills (the best around anywhere-I guarantee it)...and amazing instrumental talents as well.....more than all that, he is able to get inside your brain and understand what you are trying to achieve with a particular song....and then,he wastes no time getting down to business.....frankly Blake and I have become friends through our association over the past 3 years....he is a man of character on top of everything else.... I look foward to working with him again...
